On Tuesday March 13th we began distributing food out of our new pantry. Architect Mary-Ann Agresti designed the space to more efficiently serve the increased number of people needing our assistance and Rick Roy Construction has completed phase one which is the food distribution area. Included in the new space are pantry shelves that can be loaded from the rear decreasing the amount of foot traffic in the pantry while we are serving clients. We were fortunate to receive a grant from the Bilezikian Family Foundation to purchase commercial appliances that make distribution of our cheese, eggs and meat much easier and more efficient. Jeffrey Bilezikian joined us to cut a ceremonial ribbon just prior to opening for business. Stay tuned for updates on the next phases of the project.
