Community Fridges

The community fridge programs on Cape Cod create free, publicly accessible spaces where anyone can pick up fresh food—no questions asked. These fridges are typically placed in central, easy‑to‑reach locations such as town offices, community centers, and libraries, and they’re stocked regularly with prepared meals, produce, and other ready‑to‑eat items. Their purpose is twofold: to expand food access for residents experiencing food insecurity and to reduce food waste by redistributing healthy foods from local sources.

Currently, the following communities & locations have a community fridge. We will update the list as more locations come online.
